Waste Recycling Program

Gypsum Recycling Program
As a jewelry manufacturing facility, one of the largest waste by-products of the casting industry is spent gypsum material. This casting investment material can be ground and re-used as gypsum plaster for housing or recycled investment material. Eco-Friendly Metal Alloys
Casting House is fully aware of the harmful and unfortunate side effects of the metal mining industry throughout the world, and as such, we have sought out metals from vendors that use, at least a portion of recycled metal material. Currently, we guarantee that our Platinum 950Cu, Gold alloys (excluding X1 and Palladium/Gold alloys), silver, as well as some of our miscellaneous alloys are produced using 100% recycled material. Things you can do to become more Green and Eco-Friendly

Reuse tins, film canisters, plastic & cardboard boxes when shipping or delivering waxes for casting.

When double boxing for security reasons, reuse the interior box for another shipment.
|
|
While paper towels are needed for certain things, hang a large cloth towel by each shop sink for hand-drying then launder as needed.
